Welcome to the Department of Computer Science which is under the Faculty of Science and Technology. The Department seeks to produce the best quality professionals by imparting hands-on experience and quality training. The needs of the society, industry and the nation are at the heart of the Department, and this is made possible by pursuing creative research and new technologies. In order to be a leading Department that produces competent professionals with technopreneural, research and innovation skills, two programmes namely Computer Science and Computer Systems Engineering are offered. The two programmes combine creativity with rigour: students apply underlying principles to understand real-world systems, and to create purposeful and usable artefacts.
