Sabi Hub
Sabi Hub is a non-profit organization that tackles rising youth unemployment issues in Nigeria through sustainable youth-centered programs. The organization is headquartered in Benin, Edo State, and was founded in 2015. Her brand name, Sabi Hub, is significantly chosen and used as it reflects a proudly Nigerian Community. Sabi is derived from the Nigerian pidgin “I can”. <br><br> We are committed to promoting the daring ability and zeal of the African youth. We believe that investing in people is the best investment a person can make. <br><br> <mark>This is accomplished through training, idea incubation, start-up space, mentorship, funding access, and community showcase. We leverage our competitive advantage of data and technology to create high productivity, reach a large audience, improve business margins, learn, and scale quickly.</mark> <br><br> Through our community-based engagement programs in the past 5 years, we have trained over 750+ youths in partnership with organizations like Microsoft, the US Consulate Nigeria, GIZ through GOPA Worldwide Consultancy and SOS Children’s Villages Nigeria, and the Future Project Nigeria, Edo State government through Edo Jobs and BudgIT Nigeria. 65% of these individuals trained are still running their businesses, while 35% work with different organizations using the knowledge acquired to contribute to the development of the organizations. <br><br> MISSION<br> We aim to “build the capacity of youths in technology, employability, entrepreneurship, and personal development skills to contribute to proffering solutions to business problems, creating jobs, and fostering economic growth in Nigeria.” <br><br> VISION<br> Our Vision is to lead the development of dynamic youths who will create solutions to social problems in Nigeria.
