The educational programs at BRIGHT ENDEAVORS NOW were created with our children’s needs in mind: to mature and develop in a safe yet stimulating environment. Take a look below to learn more about each program. Coding Students will sharpen their abilities to determine cause and effect relationships, construct explanations and design solutions. The BEN Coding Workshop provides screen-free, foundational skills needed to make the best of our Robotics & Engineering classes, where children will apply their learning and creativity to programming. Robotics & Engineering Our Robotics & Engineering classes introduce students to the fundamentals of engineering and give them a deeper understanding of technology, programming, electronics and mechanical systems. Skills in teamwork, computational thinking and problem solving are developed in a fun way as students work together to apply physics and engineering concepts to design and build working models with LEGO® STEAM Park and SNAP Circuits Jr., and LEGO® Early Simple Machines. They’ll bring objects to life using introductory robotics, coding and programming principles. Children will imagine new robotic creations and make them a reality using LEGO® WeDO 2.0. Using basic programming skills, children “teach” a robot how to play games, build, tell stories and more. Students develop independence as they analyze and interpret data to plan and carryout out their own investigation.

ProjeKt Inspire

The inspiration behind founding ProjeKt Inspire is to cater the current need of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics teaching resources in schools. To add the practical way of learning that is missing from the current education curriculum used in schools; as most of them especially public primary schools are using a theoretical based curriculum which neglects the practicability of the lessons. Our learning approach supports students on understanding the context and science behind a particular phenomenon of the science subjects rather than studying for passing examinations. ProjeKt inspire to adequately prepare teachers with equipped practical knowledge and information regarding STEM to match the current learning demand following a significant growth of technology and industrialization. Mission Our mission is to ensure young people have access to affordable quality tools and resources necessary for Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields. Vision We envision a generation of well rounded African nurtured STEM professionals with an invaluable set of skills and knowledge for the innovation and development of Africa. What we do To schools, community, and parents, we’re the immediate solution that helps prepare their students for future careers and endeavors in STEM. We conduct classes, school sessions, after-school programs, youth boot camps, STEM-theme birthday parties, teachers training and a location where children can come and learn hands on STEM activities.

Apps and Girls

Apps and Girls is a Tanzanian award-winning social enterprise founded in 2013, that empowers girls and young women to create the world they want to live in using technology. Our overarching objective is to invest in girls and young women as potential tech entrepreneurs, tech creators, tech role models, and leaders, in Tanzania and across Sub-Saharan Africa. In order to achieve this goal, we are implementing an innovative cyclical process of advanced coding training, entrepreneurship training, mentorship, and incubation. The process itself harnesses the power of digital technologies, notably through the creation of coding clubs in secondary schools, an offline and online women’s tech entrepreneurship incubator and e- mentoring to match emerging tech entrepreneurs with mentors. We focus on girls and young women from both privileged and underprivileged backgrounds, at secondary school, university, or out-of school, on our mission to reduce the gender gap in ICT , tech entrepreneurship and empower more change-makers in Africa.At Apps and Girls, we believe that Tech is the reality of the future as we move deeper into the digital revolution, and entrepreneurship is a driving force. We work to break various barriers that hinder girls & young women in ICT such as a non-existent support system, lack of role models and prevailing gender stereotypes by providing the alternative, a supportive path into the field of ICT and a future in tech.
