Many of those businesses have grown to become billion-dollar companies with hundreds of millions of dollars in revenues, or have been acquired by global companies like Mastercard and Shell. Why Accelerate? This is not your typical accelerator. It could be easy to mistake Accelerate Africa for your typical one-size-fits-all accelerator program, but nothing could be more different. First, we will accept 10 founders who will receive 1:1 support from advisors who have built, advised, invested in, and exited multiple successful businesses in Africa.
